    Being overweight sucks.

    I don't remember when I was in shape anymore. I'm trying to lose weight but am not patient at all to get down there again. It's my own fault I'm overweight and I take total blame.

    first and foremost IT TAKES EFFORT.

    Everyone always bitches it ain't fair I'm skinny blah blah blah. Well those same people refuse to attend the gym and cut out some fatty foods. It's pathetic I have to explain my ass is in the gym 5 days a week. I refrain from shitty food often (not always just often). If you don't work out and refuse to eat better shut up.

    OP- get to the gym, start figuring out where your eating habits are going wrong. After that if its impossible to lose weight you might have a medical condition that's preventing you from doing so. And you have to be patient. Unless you do plastic surgery loing weight takes much effort and much time.

    FREE? why would it be free? No way man, I pay, we all pay and if you can't pay buy videos, work out at home, run on the street, train in the park etc.

    That's what I thought.

    I hate to say that I don't have a job but am going to college to get my associates degree this Januaury. They have a great gym and so would be free for more for about 2-3 years. Sounds cheap but works.

    Oh, I forgot to mention, I am already trying to lose weight and have lost over 10 lbs already two saturdays ago ( Well, this saturday would be the second saturday but you know what I mean.

    one thing to note ALL weight comes back so this has to be a PERMANENT lifesytle change. Not like a diet.

    Oh I know. Boy do I know.

    I started exercising three times a weekthis time and have shed alot more pounds by just getting and walking on the treadmill on a brisk walk.

    Funny thing is though the damn thing keeps shocking me and I haven't exercised this week yet. Well I did for 4 minutes till that damn thing shocked me twice.

    dude, walk outside!

    Walk to get groceries, walk to the corner store, take the stairs, every little bit helps. But most of all stay at it! Good work just have to find something that motivates you. Everyones is somehting different. Mine is my boudroir pics I took, that's the best shape I've been in, I keep looking at it makes me think damn, gotta get my ass in the gym to make my ass look like that.

    Okay. The only thing is that it's icey outside and I could trip and stuff.

    I wish I was more like you girl68 in a way that looking at myself can motivate me to do something about it. I'm trying, but you know people my size don't have the confidence anymore to feel like they can do it anymore. I just haven't found the magic beans for that yet.

    Like I said we all have different motivators that just happens to be mine. Ask yourself why do you want to lose weight? Every time you're lazy ask the question and answer it. Then get your ass up and do something.

    you *must* be able to find a place to walk that ain't icy- don't risk actaully hurting yourself!
