Well.. Firstly if the mood is right, I would wrap my arms around her tightly and pull her in before smiling and looking deeply into her eyes. Then I would slowly move in shut my eyes and lock lips with her for a good 20 seconds or so, move back out, smile, and hug her tightly.

Then do it all again 10 seconds later!

I'd touch the girl's face and maybe run my fingers through her hair and lightly grab the back of her head. then go back to once again and stroke her face. After that (still kissing) go for a strong hug.

But if you really like the girl, you're probably pretty happy that the kiss is happening. if the guy seems just happy that this is happening, then you know he likes you.

Yes, kissing is an art and i agree with thundersw on the expression from inside bit. If when its happening and you know she knows it and you think aiming for the lips is too direct than go in for a closeness of the body with your left palm gently holding the back side of her head and go in to the right like your going to smell her essense but give a little kiss there then brush her cheek withyours as you slowly come back to face her but if you feel shes diggin it then smoothly transition into a light kiss that can suddenly become passionate. Best to go slow and feel her energy, she will feel your an attentive lover if you know how to feel with your whole being.
