I agree; just do your best to not be an enabler. Chances are she'll have one really bad night that will be enough to change her perspective on drinking (as many of my friends and I have). Be there to make sure she's safely stupid.

Alcohol too much consumption will lead to memory loss. Like Black out effect. You will didn't remember anything happened last night. Just keep your friend busy with something else.

    Support her.

If you want to let her know then you should. Sometimes it takes someone telling her. What if no one ever did. Then she would keep on doing what she is doing. Maybe her other friends feel this way as well.

Don't make it seem like you are ganging up on her and don't do it while she is drinking.

Just try planning some fun things that don't involve drinking.

If she continues then you know you have done all you can.

In my view she'll obviously try again it is not easy to quit just like that. She has to take necessary step to eliminate this. And you have to organize an intervention with her family.
