I'm in love with her but we have nothing in common

    Hi,

I'm 24 yo and the girl I just started dating is 22 yo.
We know each other a lot of time, but only now we're trying to have a relationship between us.
The thing is that we got nothing in common.
Yet, she's the only girl I've even been in love with.

Tomorrow we set to spend time in nature, and I'm afraid that we won't have anything to talk about.

What do you think about it?

    Thanks.

how are you already in love with her if you only just started dating and aren't sure if you are gonna have anything in common? sounds like you have to get to know each other better and spend more time together until you know if you're truly in love with her

No you havn't just met her....you met her months ago and were on here in regards to her and this problem a-g-e-s ago!!!!

Soit can't be 'that' BIG of a problem if you are still with her.

We don't all come and go you know....some of us stick around and remember stories

And if this IS a new girl in your life....you don't have much luck finding females you DO have anything in common with, do you?

    hahaha,

XX, it's not the same girl.
The other girl was my girlfriend at the time.

Anyways, I hope we'll have a good time tomorrow.

Frankly... I doubt it'll last. I've never been in a relationship that had any longevity with somebody that I had little in common with.

My wife and I are like two peas in a pod. I've actually made a list about the weird similarities we have. We're not TOTALLY in synch, not even on major issues - I'm an atheist and she's not, but with nothing in common, what will you talk about? What will you do together? How long will you pretend you're interested in what she has to say about a subject you've got no interest in? When the honeymoon sex wears off, where will you be? Something to think about.

It works because it's new, it won't last long though you'll need to like and agree on the same things.

OK. So if it didn't work with the last girl who you had nothing in common with, why bother with a new girl you appear to have nothing in common with?

strategic differences can make relationships fun, interesting, and exciting. poorly placed differences can result in disaster. its important to agree on fundamental things. for instance i am very active - my ideal first date is a 1 mile ocean swim and a 6 mile run. i cant imagine being with a girl who would rather go to the movies and eat a bucket of candy.

First off, not all of us like the treats at the movie theaters. And second.....isn't the whole point of a first date is to get to know each other, spend time with one another? How can you get to know someone when you're sweating, and can't breathe properly because your head is under water?

OP. I think you're just swept up in the newness of it all. I don't think you're in love with her per se. Differences can be good (who seriously wants to be in a relationship with themselves? I mean really) but having absolutely NOTHING in common? Dude, you gotta have something to talk about with the girl! Unless you're just looking for a physical relationship, it isn't going to work.

You dont really need to have anything in common... you both can take turns showing each other what you each are individually interested and maybe just maybe she will pick one of your hobbies or interests but perhaps you will find one of her hobbies a delight

in my opinion, nothing in common is the main reason that attract both in love with each other

my advice is don't try too hard to find topic, once you are in relax everything comes naturally

    Hi mates.
    Thanks again for your share.

We met today, spent some time in the park.
    It was nice.
It wasn't like we were having the best time of our lives but I enjoyed being with her.
I don't know how she feels about all that.

What I like about her is that she's smart, beautiful, very different than other people.

I hope she has feelings for me, I can't tell.

It's hard for me to talk over the phone with girls, and as I work and study it's hard for me to meet her during the week.
I don't know how I can have a relationship that way.

You love her but hardly know her - good luck because it won't last. You did say you were 24? Or was it 14? Get a grip
