Ex girlfriend's strange behavior

Hey ladies! I thought maybe some advice from the fairer sex would be able to help me process my morning.

I work a really early shift, starting at 3 in the morning. This morning, I got a strange call at 4 from an Ex GF of mine. We are on pretty bad terms... to the point that i've been ignoring her for a long time now (like 5 months) Anyway, I answered, said I was at work and not to call me. Hung up before she could respond.

After I hung up, she texted me saying "you make me so happy, and you don't even realize it."

it's weird because I haven't even talked to her since last september. ignoring calls, texts, emails... the whole 9 yards.
She even has a BF she's been seeing for a while now.

I don't get women.

Could any of you awesome females shed some light on this strange text? anything to make me less confused haha

hmm, that is pretty odd and out of the blue. maybe she was reflecting on the relationship, realized how much she missed you and how happy you made her? that's the only thing that really makes sense to me

drunk is a good call. same conclusion i came to after i posted this. To be honest, I really just feel bad for her boyfriend now...

I'm not a female unfortunately but being drunk seems most plausible. Although maybe she just isn't all that happy with her current boyfriend, or was happier with you, and wanted to see your opinion before she made any moves with her current boyfriend.

And as an example, me and my ex of 5 years broke up once for 6 months and she dated somebody else because I wouldn't take her back, after 6 months out of the blue I contacted her after not speaking to her the whole time. Within the week of her hearing from me she broke up with him and went back out with me. That easy. So I think if she wasn't drunk she has similar intentions.

That text makes no sense. I also vote for drunk. Maybe she also got in a fight with her bf, and it was such a bad fight it made her miss you.

It's still weird.

Women and men can be wierd. At the weekend I got a text from my ex asking if she could see me and get back what we once had - even though she knows I have somebody new!!!
Just tell her politely that you are NOT interested.

Since I dont know her, it sounds like she was drunk,..thinking of you and called. Instead of being nasty,..she thought saying something nice would be better...hope that helps..
