Unfortunately some people start to have trouble dealing with even "little things" when they have had too much stress or something major happens in there life. This leads to a sort of conditioned response and is not a healthy way to be. I have to disagree with the OP who seems to think you "just may not have enough going on in your life" or need to compare yourself to others worse off to be worthy of advice. Many health experts agree that stress that is not managed can have very negative effects on many body systems including the heart. My advice is this:

1. Try to figure out where its coming from and remedy it if possible
2. Exercise, eats lots of fruits and veggies, organic if possble
3. Meditate
4. Listen to music
5. Consult friends or seek counseling if need be
6. Prayer has been shown to alleviate stress in many
7. Take time for yourself
8. Keep a journal

We are still bombarded with negative things and the overall decline of moral in society along with the current world situation, but these things can give you a measure of peace in your life. Be well.
Why does the medical profession like to enforce a spiritual personality on all persons? Is there any medical research/evidence to suggest that this is the best way to live?
