Like the winter in the sky,
And if the sun would shine

I can't believe no one commented on this; I thought that was a very beautiful poem. I have always been a "fan" of rhyming couplets, or just rhyming in general in poetry, and you did a nice job with your rhymes.
Though I despise the season, this poem made me come to appreciate winter a little bit.
