    erectile dysfunction

curious to see if anyone here has ED. i am curious to know at what age you found out you had it? i have not seen a doctor about it yet to be honest i am kind of embarrassed about it. i am really not even sure i have it but based on the conversations regarding sex with my close friends and my brother my "erectile tendencies" if you will are not normal. i have found that i get bored very quick. currently single but when i was with my gf she would tease me thinking it was kinky and that it would turn me on more but it did the opposite. another example, shed have me harder then a rock while performing oral but once she stopped to grab a condom id lose the erection. i dont know what the deal is, i am 22 years old i am unsure if you can even have this problem this young. i know i have no problems with testosterone levels or semen count so need some incite please.

Condoms do make sex somewhat less enjoyable for the guy. And excessive masturbation can cause some less of sensitivity. Otherwise, unless you're in really poor health, you're too young to have this kind of problem. It's an important issue, so you might want to see a doctor.

ive experienced this previously when we had sex all the time without using condoms which is why i am kind of worried. currently i am overweight but in the prime of our sex life i was in the best shape of my life so maybe a dr is the best idea.

I've had it my entire life. Just go to the doctor.

It's a medical condition. It says nothing about you as a human being.

    I'm 28. I've known since I was 16.

Agree with everyone else see a Dr. Get him to do a full medical to see whether it is a physical problem. It may be pyschological. My BF had/has it and his problem is pyschological. It is a very embarrassing problem for a male but one you can overcome with the right help.

Being stressed or overweight could be a cause of impotence. I know that I lose all interest in sex if haven't exercised or slept regularly. I'd guess the Dr. might tell you this, too.

And, sometimes ye olde pecker just shuts down on ya regardless of age. In some ways, male impotence is nature's way of giving women a chance to avoid being poked LOL

Seriously though, your Dr. will likely say, "Rest, exercise, lose weight, and relax." Exercise is a great way to improve things--confidence goes up and that helps with impotence problems.

psychological ED = too nervous to have sex... worring about if you can get a boner or not.

before you have sex, make sure you have low blood pressure or atleast normal below 120/80... second your pulse is not racing to 100's/nervousness. must be below 80's ... this way your penis can draw up as much blood as possible and resulting into quick erection.

a woman that i had sex with gave me an advice... DO NOT MASTURBATE. I cant even last 5 rounds and i couldnt compete after 5 rounds.
if you want to go the distance beyond 5 rounds DO NOT MASTURBATE.

my favorite of all is full contact sex. no condom. high risk but works in monogomy+faithful relationship

    all else fail... viagra/cialis/levitra
THIS IS EXTREME CASES: if levitra/cialis/viagra dont work, see your urologist because it might be nerve damage/physical deformity inside the perineal area

you mention "5 rounds"---do you mean five thrusts? What does this mean?

Don't masturbate. Depends. It does reduce the number of sperm in your ejaculate. If you want to have sex without a condom and your gf is on birth control, reducing your sperm count further reduces the probability of impregnation. Control your time to ejaculation and your body will produce a lot of ejaculate regardless of sperm count.

Sex without a condom with someone with who one is not in a commited relationship is highly irresponsible but admittedly feels very good. It is also more spontaneous.

    You don't have ED.

Either you're actually gay, or more likely you're really just over-thinking things. Your brain is 90% of your sex life. When it's too busy to stay interested, your penis won't stay interested.

In the meantime, go buy a cock ring to help you stay hard.

I know this one is a little outdated but perhaps you're still lurking around. The thing about being hard during foreplay and then loosing an erection at the time the condom wrapper is torn is performance anxiety and I am doing some research to see reasons for this. I've had a similar encounter (well not myself, but a partner) and they were afraid to go to the doctor, they guy was only 30 so he dint want to embarrass himself.

Sometimes you should take the leap and talk to your doctor. TRUST me he's heard it all before and there's nothing you can say to make him cringe or put your secret on facebook. It's the guy's job to help with embarrassing medical issues. Anyway... after finally getting him some help, we were referred to use a vacuum pump like the ones from penispumpwarehouse.com and that's exactly what worked. Even for performance anxiety the pump can help, you want to stay away from meds for this type of ED he said and the pump worked so well for us. The best part was you don't need a prescription so other guys can avoid the embarrassing trip to the doctor. I found it quite interesting how mental plays such a big role, but there's ways around it, there is always a solution.

Yep, ED is the inability to get it up even though everything in your mind says you should. You're getting it up, and losing it, this is not a sign of ED, this is performance anxiety as said above. And it could be just a simple as a cock ring.

Yea basically once I turned 19 or so, I was done. I'm closer to 30 now and practically impotent a lot of the time, but there are things I can do to help such as ensuring I am eating a lot, sleeping a lot, exercising only a little (physical stress will mess you up), not trying to get hard late at night (past a normal bed time), etc.

Also, a Yohimbe supplement I tried definitely helped aswell, as have some dick exercises especially some stretching.
