I support a true open market capitalism. What you see today is not a true free market. That doesn't mean I am against capitalism or do not appreciate the lifestyle that the current system brings.
Well....tell us what forms of "welfare" you support. Don't wait to be asked. But the word "welfare" nearly always equates to a "social democracy" which is a form of socialism.

Oh, I agree about today's "capitalism." I don't believe that corporations, as they are construed today, are consistent with free market capitalist principles. We should never have bailed them out. We should have allowed them to fail and then finally just dealt with the aftermath now, rather than later. Today's capitalism is "corporatism"--big business and big government institutions working together to support each other. No doubt about that. What we have today is a form of fascism...worldwide fascism (not to be confused with Nazism...a different animal).

I've always wondered why women have such problems with taking birth control.

I've asked my mother why won't she get on the pill (she has four kids, for christ sakes) and she said, it was, I guess you could say, a religious/moral issue. That god created our bodies to reproduce, and she shouldn't do anything to hinder nature, though she doesn't want anymore kids, but keeps having sex. Kinda stupid.

Because it messes with your body and increases the chances of certain illnesses. Breast cancer was one, thought to be less now the dose is reduced but noone really knows the longterm effects. Also increased chance of DVT--you may remember the news recently about young women getting blood clots from Yasmin:

I took the pill for years when the risks of being pregnant was higher than my concerns about the drug (I was in school). Fortunately we didn't have a problem conceiving when the time was right. But its not everyone's experience. I have no idea what I may end up with later in life because of taking it for almost a decade.

I recommend getting a full STI and HIV test (both of you) then sort out a method of contraception. I recommend the implant as it lasts 3 years, is effective immediatly, you don't have to remember to do anything and you can concieve straight away if you get it taken out. But its up to you really.

I've had experience with sex without a condom. The result was she got pregnant, and she chose to have an abortion.

Perhaps you should talk to your doctor about options available to you other than pills/patches to help protect you from pregnancy. However, the truth is... If you're used to having sex while wearing the condom and it's a decent fit/thin condom, there's not much difference in feeling.

But, frankly if you're going to do so w/out a condom I'd recommend that you both get tested for STI's first. Even if he claims you're his first and only. Better safe than sorry, and honestly you should probably reconsider the pill. If you're not ready to have kids, you're not ready to have sex w/out birth control. Pulling out is no guarantee you won't get pregnant, especially if he's a "dribbler"...

Respect yourself, respect your health, and suck it up when it comes to condom use. As they say, it takes many nails to build a crib, only one screw to fill it.
"Well, then," the Cat went on, "you see a dog growls when it's angry, and wags its tail when it's pleased. Now I growl when I'm pleased, and wag my tail when I'm angry. Therefore I'm mad."
