Sometimes I wish I was a star;
So I could see just where you are;
But then I stop and think:
How hard it'd be to have you 'O so far.

Sometimes I wish I was your shoes;
So I could trace your every move;
But then I stop and think;
I will have a lot to lose.

Sometimes I wish you were here with me;
So I could let my feelings free;
But then I stop and think a lot;
What if that's not what you really want?

If I was a falling star;
Do you think I would fall too far;
If I were your shoes;
Would I make you run to heal my bruise;
And if I were here with you;
Would you be here with me too?
