What to know about dating older women?

I'm 26, my comfort zone is usually women 2-3 years younger than me. Everyone I've ever dated actually falls right into that zone other than one HS GF who was the same age as me.

I've found an opportunity, as 29 year old woman has shown some serious interest in me, we've been out a couple of times and its clear that things are moving along nicely. I have already noted that she is far more mature and accomplished than the usual 21-24 year olds I would go for.

What else should I be aware of before kicking off a relationship?

She is less likely to tolerate binge drinking, chronic unemployment, or men who still live at home. She will probably expect you to have a car that runs and an attention span longer than a teenager's. She probably won't be impressed by your video game collection, and may expect you to put them away all together if she's around. She will likely expect some skill in the bedroom. I'm sure there is more....
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

26 to 29 is hardly a significant age difference.

I think it's not so much the difference between their ages, but the difference between dating a college-aged girl versus a woman about to be 30.

There will definitely be a big difference, i finished my 19 yr old gf for a 32 year old gf. HUGE difference in confidence, sercurity, and maturity. For the first time ever i feel like my alpha male status is being challenged!

The age difference is not very much. I was 23 when I met my ex missus and she was 28. The fact that she's my ex had nothing to do with age btw

I don't think your age difference is much, except perhaps you might just be a bit immature, but then she could be immature, but time will tell. If a man went out with a girl with the same difference, it wouldn't even be noticed. Don't worry about it, nobody else will notice.....Enjoy her, grow together, get to know her... don't act stupid, be strong and mature. Be a little mysterious as I imagine she is. Older women just are, I know I am one......we know what we know. Good luck
