Are you saying that she didn't want to be with you because of your skin tone? Some people are ok with interracial dating and some people aren't. There's really nothing you can do to change someone's mind. Why would you want to be with someone who doesn't find you attractive (or worse has social hang ups about your skin).
The good thing is that there are plenty of other people in the world. You're not a bad looking guy. You'll find someone else.

Yup...They will give more importance to social status but i dont bother about society since i am living for myself not for society...Los Angeles, California in the U.S.
I don't know how things work in India - I have heard social class is important over there, but over here, I believe you'd be well-received.
