yesterday I was at a party chatting with my 2 girlfriends . At some point one of our co-workers (a guy) approached us and started to talk. He was obviously hitting on my friend who already had a boyfriend ( who was at the party but not standing with us). Well I found that very rude of him because everyone knew that she’s not available. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a punch was thrown to that guy’s face sending him to the ground. I looked up to realize that it was her boyfriend, but before we had time to blink he grabbed his girlfriend by the arm making her spill her drink and dragged her out….
Obviously the situation was embarrassing, and the Girl will definitely feel humiliated afterwards. Half an hour later when I was driving my other friend home she caught me smiling….
Well, I found his altitude really arousing … I bet they had a very good , angry make up sex afterwards.
And my friend thinks that I’ve become a sick twisted person…
I don’t know what you may think.......
To put it bluntly, you have.

There's nothing sexy about jealousy. You've been around abuse so much that you've come to identify it with positive things: "He gets crazy jealous, so he must love me."

When it really means that he's terribly insecure.

If you can, I'd suggest counseling. Of course, I always do... But please look into group therapy in your area, it's often quite affordable, and it's VERY comforting to know that there are other people with the same problems.

Most things people fight over are stupid.

    Not always... but usually.

Anybody that thinks that violence never solves anything hasn't paid attention in history class.

True, but I was referring to the kinda fighting where one guy punches another in the head for looking at his g/f kinda fighting (and not fighting for freedom, rights, justice and all that other good stuff)

    I get that.

I had whole long explanation written out, but it's not necessary - suffice it to say that I believe it's a good reason to fight to protect your family, but most reasons aren't good.

I read a Chemistry book years ago and found a quote that stuck with me ever since - I can't remember the exact words but it basically said that no thing/invention by itself is good or bad, you make it good or bad through the way you use it. It was by a famous chemist and I completely forgot his name. Anyway what I'm trying to say is that the same thing stands for fighting and violence.

It's not about fighting and violence. I guess I like over-protective men ..... they make me feel safe!
I know what all of you might be calling me... insecure, coward, stupid, twisted
I'm just glad I can express myself

    I like pie.

vampiress, I get what you mean with the whole feeling safe thing, but honestly would you have enjoyed being in your friend's place, having your boyfriend punch some bloke in front of you then drag you out of the bar? A guy should make you feel safe through different means.
