Are first impressions really the deciding factor?

Not in my case. I had a guy contact me through an online dating site and when I saw his photo, I thought 'ugh'. But, I read his profile and we had a lot in common. He messaged me, we chatted for 2 weeks and he was sooooo much fun! I was having the time of my life talking to him.

Unfortunately, after meeting, then later on having a sexual encounter-- he turned out to be huge douchebag.
