Best horror movie to watch with a new girl!

Hello, i've got a date on friday and she's coming over to watch a movie, I've met her a few times and I would like to get to know her better. I've asked what movies she likes and she clearly stated no Action and no ScienceFiction.

So I suggested a horror and she agreed but she doesn't want it to be a fake like horror but a good one.

Any suggestions on a horror movies you girls/women like?

Hahahaha do NOT do The Human Centipede unless you want to scar her for life!

My favorite horror movies are House of 1000 corpses and The Devils Rejects.

Oh and hubby just reminded me of Descent. Half psychological, half gore.
The Exorcism of Emily Rose is very good too.

JU-ON definetly a mind cr*apper and makes you think but i would say the japanese one so she has to read subs and concentrate so when she does jump into your arms as you seem to be planning its so much more a ego trip for the hero next to her.

PS thats if you havent crapped your pants first lol

I love horror and science fiction. Try Tale of Two Sisters, which is a great South Korean film. As for mind benders...Franklyn is good. Both Rec and Let the Right One In are brilliant but you must see the originals not the hollywierd remakes. Obscure? May.

Ok so far I've been able to get: The Descent 2 (Already saw 1) The Devil's Rejects and The Last Exorcism.

Anymore? I want her to jump in my arms haha ;p Horror movies don't scare me after having worked in a butchery for several months ;p.

Im pretty stoked, I hope she doesn't call off the date o.o!

I thought Silent Hill was pretty scary in parts.

Then again, it was late and I had eaten lots of cheese, so that probably added to my state of perturbation.

Sanctum, kind of more thriller than horror but it's still pretty scary.
