How Long Before you know about marriage?!

Im sure this has been posted before and i know all situations are different, but what are some dead give away signs that you and your significant other are ready for marriage or at least know you will spend the rest of your life with that person?

Here is one piece of advice that you are both ready - when one of you proposes and the other accepts. Even then, I guess you aren't really sure until the wedding ceremony.

You said it yourself in your OP, every situation is different. There are no signs. Just good conversation.

I've been previously married, more than once. I knew every time I was making a mistake, and put it down to cold feet. I was wrong.

When I got married the last time, I had no doubts, no reservations... I went into it with joy in my heart instead of apprehension and fear.

So my advice is this: When you can do it joyfully and fearlessly, there is a good chance you've got it right. If you can't, you don't yet. Listen to your heart, and listen to NOBODY about your spouse-to-be.
