Getting her while away at college.

Well, recently I've been in a tough situation.
I met a very attractive girl through work, but she is heading back to school soon.
She had been with her boyfriend for a few years but broke up a month ago.
The more I talked to her, the more I realized how similar her and I are.
She is going to school in the City, maybe an hour drive away.
I have her number, and she has mine.

How do I make this happen?
How long do I really wait? After all, she very friendly, caring, takes care of herself, and seems to like talking to me.

Any help would be appreciated.

If she broke up with her boyfriend of a few years only a month ago, then expect her to not be completely over him. You can still show interest, though. Flirt, ask her to hang out, keep it casual, see where it goes.

Yeah, I guess it's kind of difficult in my mind. I don't have much dating experience, and I don't want to let this one get away.
But I do understand. She may be a little iffy about dating another guy in the first place, like you said.

I'll keep in contact with her, and be proactive, but not smothering.

I just really want something to happen for once.
