Is pedo/hebephilia really that wrong?

First off, this is mainly about hebephilia.
Most people confuse hebephilia with pedophilia.

Pedophilia = Attraction to a prepubescent child.
Hebephilia = Attraction to somebody who is in early puberty.

Now, lets get this started.

1) As most of you know, You don't choose what you're attracted too.
So why then, are hebephile's hated so much? I'm speaking of those who never touched a girl/boy below the age of consent.

2)
I have been married for 10 years now. I've known my wife since she was born(28 years ago).
She's the daughter of my father's best friend. We started "dating" since she was 11.
I was 17 at that point in time. We started having sex when she turned 13(I was 19). I never hurted her in any form or way. I can't even think of doing such a horrible thing.

5 years later, when she turned 18. We got married. 6 years after that she gave birth to our son(now 4). Everything is going fine.
Yet, plenty of people would want me locked up(for no reason). Yet I never hurted somebody.
So I ask you this.. why should I get be locked up? I'm not a danger to society.

To clarify:
1) By this, I purely mean attraction, I'm not talking about those who have sex or touch girls/boys.
I'm not talking about those who watch child porn either.

2) I'm only talking about myself, nobody else.
I'm not asking why those who have sex with young girls are getting locked up, i'm asking why it would be a good thing that I could get locked up.

She was a child!She was not mature enough physically, emotionally, psychologically and intelectually to be able to make the decision of having sex with someone. It amazes me that there are predators out there who think that seducing a CHILD is OK. Just because you married her does not make what you did acceptable. You stole her innocence at a time in her life when the only things on her mind ought to have been school, having fun with her friends and enjoying being a child and now you are wondering whether you did anything wrong?

She can never have her childhood back, you robbed her of it. Don't go around thinking that marrying her makes you any better than any other predator who lingers around in schools and tries to befriend children supposedly saying that he enjoys their company and in the end convincing them to engage in sexual activity with them.You are one of those monsters that parents dread their children might encounter. Nothing more, nothing less.

I don't have sex with underaged girls, or any women/girls besides my wife. Why would I cheat on her?

The fact that you feel the need to ask for social acceptance on a forum full of strangers online means that you probably feel guilty yourself. You shouldn't have done what you did. Convincing yourself that there was nothing wrong won't make it right.
