    Post Not In This Lifetime

A poem I wrote for someone that I've been loving for over a year now.

    I never thought my life
Will never be the same again
The day that I met you.
    It's been a roller-coaster ride for me
    Coz' with you
    I learned to defy reasons
    And just follow my heart.
    I even surprised myself
That I can love someone like this.
    My mind tells me
To let go and move on
But my heart says "hang on"
Coz' there's more love for you in my heart.
And I can still bear the pain of loving you.
Even if deep in my heart
And at the back of my head
    I know for a fact
    That I can't have you
    No matter what I do.
So I'll just cherish each moment
That we share together while it last.
So when that painful day comes,
I already have enough memories of you
    To last a lifetime.
We're not meant to be together
    In this lifetime.
So if there's a "next life,"
    Then maybe by that time
    You will be mine...
    Just always remember
    That "I love You,"
    And I always will,
    Even if it hurts.....

Thanks, I'm still in that boat with you and it's hard but I realised I'm miserable when I walked away from him so I came back and just waiting for my heart to gettired of the situation and eventually move on...

I tried to walk away but I only lasted for 3 months and after that I can't take it anymore so I came back. It's easier said and done especially if you really love the person. I can relate to that song that says, "sad to belong when the right one comes along."

One of the many great things I love about women, they can adapt, understand, and communicate a similar problem, without knowing one another. Very good internal instinct to have, and I admire this.

I notice that, when things get rough...women hundle in a pack for support..yet are so nurturing, maybe its the "motherly" instinct or something, but the ability is well noted as giving people great support/backbone. Maybe this is why I can understand women pretty well, because I "want" to understand them rather then just "try" to understand them.

Nice poem to by the way.

Innova.. and one of the things I especially love about you is your sensivity towards women. You are such a sweet man. THank you for your kind words .. from all women.
