I want to hear from my boyfriend of more than one year that he misses me from time to time?
We're in a long distance relationship and we see each other about once a month but he never said I miss you.
I sometimes tell him but he never says I miss you too.
Its really sad for me..

no, that's not needy. but i also think the fact that doesn't say he misses you doesn't mean he doesn't miss you- even though i understand your wanting him to volunteer these feelings to you, you might need to tell him that you need him to be more forthcoming.
