Hope you aren't superstitious (like me) because according to .. I don't know where I heard this.. you never give a knife as a gift, it severs the relationship. If you want to give someone a knife you have to sell it to them even if it's for 5 cents.

Then again, there is not much knife in that multi tool so it probably bypasses the superstition. I hope he likes it.

A lot of guys have swiss knives, but given the rate we give them up to TSA, its not bad to have an extra.

I like to give books, or sustainable products (e.g. reusable chopsticks) but it requires knowing the person's interests.

If he works in an office, how about a gift voucher for a bespoke shirt? That way you get to go shopping with him, help him decide exactly what he wants, then your chosen tailor can create a shirt he'll always enjoy wearing, as it is exactly what he likes...

Yes!!! Mexican coke is still made with sugar vs. HFCS, and the taste is better.
