Is it true that acne looks worse to the sufferer???

Yep, I guess it's true. My ex bf had really bad acne and he felt ugly and anti-social. I never thought it was that bad though...pimples here and there - to me he looked just fine.

I used to have bad acne, but i found that applying a bakingsoda+water mixture to my face, then washing that off, then vinegar, then washing that off, made it almost disappear within a week.

Yeah, I think it does. If you stand there looking at it in the mirror, you're looking at the acne, not you. Although it can really get you down @ times, look around. Loads of people are naturally butt-ugly and that's permenent. Acne usually, however, isn't.

If you're looking to solve it, go to the doctor's, tell them it's runing you life and they'll put you on antibiotics. Then, go out and buy some 2.5% benzoyl peroxide gel (although most doctors will give it to you for free). Remember, use this in moderation to start and then build up.

2 weeks ago, I had bloody awful acne and now I have about 2 spots. I expect to have no spots in 2 weeks time.

Can you give me some info about the baking soda + water. how much do you use and how to apply and how long do you keep it on your face before washing off??? how bad was your acne???

that's because you're seeing yourself in the mirror everyday. however if it were bad, i would tell you straight to your face that you look like a pizza face.

A lot of whether or not your acne looks worse to you than to other people depends on how bad your acne is and who you're around. Drinking a lot of water really helps, though.

Wash your face a lot. I used to have it a bit and every time I would be near a bathroom, I'd wash my hands, run cool water over my face and then pat it dry with a paper towel. I noticed a significant different in less than a week. I'm not saying this will work for you but it helped me.
