This song has like 20 friggin variations out there now...and this tubby bowl of ass-butter has been on hundreds of different sites/forums.
I suppose you guys might have heard of William Hung, or the "Star Wars Kid" by now.........?
If this guy was on the news it was probably for the same reason as those other guys: "Doing something stupid and people finding out about it on the internet."
