you don't adopt a dog. a dog is a piece of property that you purchase for your entertainment. it becomes part of the family because it is too friggin stupid to know the truth. dogs are idiots and if they weren't, they'd just run away and live in the forest with other dogs.

I've owned cats, they're just as pathetic as dogs. Cats have the ability to EASILY run away, yet the always come back.

I had a cat that ran away. I finally caught her a month later and she was skinny and had been hurt in a fight, and probably raped. She hasn't tried to run away again after that.

Well, there's this place... its warm and they feed me and stroke me whenever I rub my body against their ankles. They don't shoo me away if I poop in their garden. There's birds and squirrels to chase..and trees to scratch and sometimes they even bring out a little red dot for me to chase! Plus, I can leave whenever I want!

I guess they are pathetic. Or we are for hosting these little furry goddesses. Not sure which. :-)
