strange situation

hello all. Heres the situation:

I have been friends with a girl for about a year now. I kind of 'like' her, but i have not told her. however, i have told other people.

Today i was speaking to one of my female friends, who knows this girl, but doesn't really speak to her. she asked me i like this girl for no reason. the weird thing is, i told people i liked her over about 6 months ago so why would she ask me now?

My female friends in which i was talking to has been friends with me for a while now, but i am usure why she asked me abouth the other girl.

why would she ask me if i liked her out of no-where?

i think it might just be because of coincidence and you are relating the two facts together. i however believe that you should act upon your interests because it's been 6 months since you did anything, c'mon now. raverboy

There are three possibilities (YFF= your female friend.)
1) That other girl might have asked YFF to.
2) YFF might want to date you herself.
3) YFF had nothing to talk about, so she was filling in an awkward pause.
