For all of the star wars fans here, and the ones that hate it, i have just finished reading the story of the 3rd chapter in the series. Im not going to ruin it for anyone, but i have come to realize that starwars is one of the greatest love stories of all time. It wasnt clear until the entire story was told.
Im more of the type that things sink into my head when i read it, and i just read the novels of episodes 1-6. You should tottally check these out.

The girl I'm in love with asked me if I wanted to see Star Wars Episode III at an IMAX theater. Of course I said yes. Seeing the last Star Wars movie with the girl of my dreams...wow.

The fact that it's a love story makes it even more incredible.

Star Wars is a TRIP when you're looking hard for all the allusions and mythological allegory. All of you really into the series should check out the author/historian Joseph Campbell (The Power of Myth). George Lucas was a huge fan of his and created Star Wars under the influence of much of Campbell's work.

Joseph Campbell wrote the book on "The Hero's 12 step Journey", and Lucas more or less emulated it in his films to the letter.

It is actually pretty bland normally for films to do this, but Lucas really pulled it off.

What made it so big was the revolutionary special effects...years ahead of their time..or at least more so than anything that had ever been done before. So EVERYBODY saw it and it became an icon of the generation. The story was stolen, but most of the things we see are the same to some degree anyway..

Speaking of lightsabers...Ha ha..I broke down yesterday and bought me some Apple Jacks cereal because inside was the promise of a lightsaber-spoon. It works pretty good too..I like it, ha ha...it's good to be a kid every now and then. Now it'll be my official cereal spoon. I hope it doesn't break too soon..

It glows red, by the way...you all should go and get one, and if you get a green one, send it to me.
