Okay so a few years ago me and this guy used to be really good friends. I've always liked him but you see we got into a few sticky situations. I really wanna talk to him but it's Been years I can't just randomly be like "oh hey" but I figured since April fools coming up I could do something like "your shoes re untied" since we have an insider on April fools. What should I do?

I'm not really sure I'm following this situation. So something happened awhile back that led you guys to stop talking and now you just want to call him and see how he is? Something is obviously making you want to speak to him again. Where the "sticky situations" severe ones?
