Is online date chat cheating when in exclusive relatioship?

If you are in an exclusive relationship and you find put your boyfriend has posted his profile on 5 different dating sites and is chatting with other women...would you consider that cheating???

He says he did nothing wrong, he was just talking with them and most of them live very far away. He can't understand why I am jumping to conclusions.

I ended the relationship.

What would others do if in my shoes??

Glad to hear you ended the relationship. That's what most women with a healthy sense of self-respect would have done. Particularily when he doesn't think he's done anything wrong.

Whether it's "right" or "wrong" has nothing to do with it, really. The fact is you don't think it's right and therefore you are totally not on the same page when it comes to a very basic relationship boundary and the odds are very high that your relationship won't last if he can't even agree to respect you and your relationship and stay off of DATING sites when he's already in a relationship.

He wants to do single activities still. Pfffft. You did the right thing, IMO.

He was having emotional affairs, and that is still cheating. Obviously he doesn't think so because sex is not involved. Him seeking out other female attention is reason enough to end it for sure.
