Movies You Are Looking Forward To?

We all know that 2012 is the year of blockbusters with so many high-profile movies coming out. The ones I am really looking forward to are:
1. The Dark Knight Rises (huge fan)
2. The Hobbit (again huge fan)
3. The Avengers
4. Prometheus

How about you guys?

P.S. Feel free to leave your thoughts on any of the movies above such as what you think might happen and etc...

I may go see Prometheus. There's a lot of hype and Ridley Scott usually delivers, but for some reason I think it might not live up to the billing. We'll see.

I feel the same way about Prometheus. I have high hopes but also doubts that it can live up to those hopes. Same goes for The Hobbit. The modern Batman movies have been the best Batman movies ever, but I think they are a bit overrated, so I'm not incredibly excited about The Dark Knight Rises.

I'm really looking forward to Dark Shadows. The trailer made it seem like it will be a funny period piece (1972!) with great sets and costumes. I especially liked the bit with the little girl asking Barnabas Collins, "Are you stoned!" Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp) replies ominously, "Child, they tried to stone me, but they did not succeed."

Nice, I hadn't even heard of it. I remember Dark Shadows and Johnny Depp is one my favorite actors, so could be a good movie ! I'll have to research it a bit.

ok so in the countdown to The Avengers release have been watching the Marvel superhero movies in order. According to the comics Capt America is the first Avenger, yet in the movie releases he should probably be the second or third? Anyway, Ive watched them in this order... Capt America, Iron Man, The Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor. Regardless am excited about the countdown...!!

The Avengers got a sky high rating from Rotten Tomatoes, but that's not a huge surprise, marvel makes good movies.
