Yes it is... I mean there really isn't "good" or "bad" ways to start a conversation. Any kind of start is good, unless it's rude.

Well isn't it obvious? The only way to get to know anyone you have to ask questions, like about interests, type of music, food, job, family, travel.......just remember not to become too available to her or you will end up in the friends zone.
