    PMT and depression / anxiety

    Hello

I wonder if anyone can help.

I get such bad PMT (or PMS, whatever you like to call it) before my period. I get really down, start thinking about all the things that are wrong with my life, start worrying about stuff, feeling worthless and hopeless and I can't sleep...

I've suffered from severe depression in the past but it's under control now. Except once a month, when I just feel terrible for a few days.

Any advice from someone who has found a cure...?

    Thank you!

A lot of working out/exercise, eating very healthy pure food (no process diet food), cut back on salt, play brain twister games to enhance thinking (apps are available), spend quality time with friends doing fun activities and take time out of your day to relax for 15 mins, no drugs, no smoking, and no alcohol (alcohol is a depressant).

carbohydrates seem to amplify these feelings in me. Exercise and sun make me feel somewhat better.

But for the record, I consider when I have PMS to be my moments of clarity.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Maybe you need an extra health care of your body. Eat well and I think you should do more exercises.

In my opinion you should try to keep your self busy and do some thing in your spare time.A lot of working out/exercise, eating very healthy pure food (no process diet food), cut back on salt, play brain twister games to enhance thinking (apps are available)

I would advice you to try Yoga. It has worked wonders for my mental health.
