decided to join hoping that chatting with people that are going through bad times might be able to help me get through mine.

a couple of months ago my boyfriend split up with me after telling me he'd been sleeping with someone else for a few months. it would have been easier to get over only i put myself in venerable position when i moved on with him which has resulted in me moving out of my home, and giving up my dog and even moving to a different county altogether. but despite this i can't stop dwelling on what I've lost and im never going to live a nice happy life again.

please give some constructive advice. i don't want him back but im desperate to feel happy and normal again.

Welcome, I'm new to these boards also and in a similar situation. Not sure I can give you much advice but based on past experience there are two things that heal better than anything else: 1) time; 2) finding someone new. Hopefully the latter will be a reality for you soon!
