I would like to start reading books to help keep my mind off certain 'distractions'.
Any suggestions? They don't have to be "love" stories.

It's not for everyone lol. A lot of women I work with have read it...some liked it some not so much. It's so hard to suggest a book, because everyone has their own idea what a good read is.

Personally, I think novel, sort story about all your interest field is most convenient to read for keeping your mind off certain "distractions".
Because, the novels or stories have a attractive content - you must read many book to find your favourite kind of book.
Firstly, find in google list of classic novel, join them !
