Why don't you just drop the "Ask a" forums altogether and just let either males or females answer any question in the appropriate sub forum that best suits an OP's particular situation?

This is stupid. Obviously, the females that haven't been sufficiently abused as children are going to post in either forum because nobody educated them on the arts of stfu'ing.
The males, however, usually have valuable information to provide either forum.
