My wife might be pregnant... again

    We're crossing our fingers.

Normally her cycle is regular enough to set the calendar by, and as of today she is a week late. Took a cheap pregnancy test this morning and it was negative, but she was nauseous after leaving for work, so it might just have been a crappy test or we tested too early.

I hope so. She's in her late 40's and I'm in my mid 40's... time is running out for us, and I've always wanted to have a child with her.

We had her hormone levels tested earlier this year and her doctor said they're fine, that she's nowhere near menopause, but you never know, huh? This stuff makes us think awful things.

Well, turns out she still might be. Had some light spotting then it stopped. Happens sometimes in the beginning of a pregnancy. We're so hoping.

Don't you hate the not knowing? It doesn't matter if you're hoping for a yes or a no, the waiting and not knowing is painful. Hope you get the answer you want and soon.

Hate to piss on your parade, but is late forties a good age to be having babies? When that child is 18, youll be like 70, assuming you are still alive. Get a cat.

Big responsibility. Your wife would stay home while you work, I assume?

Probably not. We don't have that kind of financial luxury.

that sucks HIA. you should consider adopting a kid. there is no shortage of kids in need of families.

I was thinking about mentioning adoption as well.
