Well, I dunno; don't take casual interactions as a sign except in conjunction with other possible signs. Otherwise, you'd be looking too far into something that might not even be there.

Like I said, if he pays attention to you. If a guy has no interest he doesn't invest his time talking to you and stuff.

That's too much of a truism; a guy can just want to be friends. Casual conversation doesn't mean anything. If he asks for your number, makes small physical contact like touches your hand or back and looks enthused to see you, then I'd say there's a good chance he likes you.
