Do you have a group of friends at college? How do you socialize with other students, and how is the guy/girl ratio in your classes? Definitely start there. Don't be afraid to introduce yourself personally to classmates, even if it makes you feel like Billy Mays. All kinds of things you could say to start some kind of idle chit-chat and make friends during the rest of the semester. See if you can form study groups as a sort of "excuse" (don't tell them) to hang out.

Dammit. Now I shouldn't do it since if I'm the only male, it'll look gay. I actually had an interest in yoga, too.
