It's ****ing ridiculous really. I think there will always be a huge double standard in the U.S. when it comes to many things. I like sex and I really wish I had a lot more of it with different men before I "settled down" for the time being....

Lol...yeah so I def. know about the "slut meter" feeling and/or voice inside my head...ugh. Anywhere an hour outside of RVA is worse!! I went to school about 3 hours from there in SWVA (pronounced swoahva) hahaha...and it's worse in southwest VA....some back country baptist hicks.

The South has it's charm too and NC & SC are beautiful states. The beaches are by far the nicest in the country. The social culture and the laws suck ass and always will!

Ladies the trick to avoid being labelled or even accused of being one was to not date anyone you went to school, or worked with. I had different circles of friends and dated guys that were in different cities. I picked up on how much of an advantage it was by not dating guys at school very early on, because of what I saw other couples go through...it becomes everyone's business, rumors, back stabbing, gossip....not worth it. On the plus side when you dumped someone you never had to worry about seeing them at school the next day.

I never dated anyone that went to my same school...when I was in middle school I did but never did anything sexual...just hand holding. I was sacred. It was more of an early complex thing instilled in my head so it wasn't/isn't very logical. By college I was still scared....smh.

I guess you are a product of your inviroment. For me it was the free lovin 70's, my parents liked to party and they let me have skinny dipping parties (girls only of course) when I was 12 (guys came later when I was 16). Oh and I refused to go to church when I was 6, and my dad backed me up on my decision lol. I had a lot of freedom.
