Actually, his answer was secretly a measure of his own level of confidence. If he rated himself low, I would've suggested his lowly evaluation of himself means he clearly isn't going to have success with the girl. That was the secret aim of it.

Alpha males are fact: observe a pack of lions for an example. Alpha males aren't usually happy, though, but they are excessively confident and are certainly not honest: they tend to be Machiavellian in nature and all girls want a rude, boastful jackass who's hot.

Probably; but women are years away and I can't wait that long. GIRLS love the hell out of my prototype of the alpha male and that goes until they lose their looks and settle down with a decent wage-earning boring, ugly guy for financial security (who she then cheats on).
