Listening to music while you're doing other things. It's one of my coping mechanisms. I typically watch a movie with a book and my laptop at hand.

I did really shitty in school when I was a kid because my parents wouldn't let me listen to music or have a novel open in the book-holder while I did my homework... nor would they let me have coffee (which helps) after dinner, so I couldn't pay attention to what I was doing... I HAVE to have multiple things to split my attention with.

That must have sucked. And yeah, I can't even watch hockey games paying full attention nor play video games with undivided attention, either..
