Would you classify playing Minecraft with your partner, spending time together?

I kinda do because we are both playing the same game but its not a competitive game and we don't talk much through it, so then I think nah, its not really spending time together. we play it both on our laptops side by side, not on a server so we are always sitting beside each other. We live together in our own flat. Have done for 2 yrs now.

This is a random question but my boyfriend (we are both 20) thinks yeah it classes as spending time together and I'm on the fence. Just want peoples opinions. Thanks

the activity you have with her is still 'virtual' .. it is best to come out together and share your thoughts in real life. Much better.

my gf and I play MC in the same room sometimes, but we live together so it might be different if you're not.

We have a couple of massive 2-player maps built, but waiting for the "open to LAN" feature to start working properly.

If you are playing with each other, sure. I play Call of Duty with my son, we have an awesome time!

I tend to think so. You don't need to be constantly chattering at each other to spend time together. One of my exes and I used to decide before we went out to dinner if it was a "Book" or a "No Book" date. Sometimes we'd just sit there at the table with our noses in our books with the occasional "Oh, taste that" etc. 'Course, I'm not married to her anymore, but we ARE good friends.

Thanks to everyone for replying. Me and my partner do live together so we play on our own server that he made and we also play side by side. I suppose it does count as doing something together
