Making arrangements but not asking me.

Next weekend my GF has arranged that we're going to eat with her grown up children at her ex husbands house - it's his birthday. Now I can understand her wanting to stay on good terms with him for the sake of the children (as I try to do with my own ex-wife) but I'm uncomfortable with the idea of eating at his place - they've been divorced for years so I'm not worried that she's still in love with him. But I'm also concerned that she never consulted me. Am I being overly sensitive?

I had to ask my husband to consult me before committing us to any event. For some reason, the idea of asking me first didn't occur him.

I don't see it as something particularly concerning - but if I were you, I'd have the same conversation with your GF
