Shaven is better. Well my then bf (now ex) used to shaved below. I could never imagine being intimate with him with hairs on his private.

I manscape and keep the private areas trim but not bald. As for my face I shave at least every other day if not everyday. Never been a fan of facial hair. I have a strong jaw line and dimples, so GFs have always liked me clean shaven. I am not a hairy person though...so no back hair (gross) and just enough on my chest.
As for women...I have dated a lot of latin women so I am quite partial to the brazilan wax. But, I don't mind a little hair as long its not all french and wild (aka 1970s porn). I am not going to go to town during when going down on a woman if she is all hairy. Shaven for myself, and I don't care what the guy chooses to do, I have no real preference whatever he prefers to do, it is his body after all. I'd never tell a guy to trim or shave his privates. I like men trimmed and manscaped, but not shaved. Shaved reminds me of slutty boys in their late teens/early twenties. Shaved, smooth balls? Now that's another story. Yes please, or they're not getting any actions.
