Networking face to face can also create issues in a relationship. It's all about appropriate behaviour whatever the medium used.
Never regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, forgotten or undone. So, take it as a lesson learned and move on.

I think they have great potential for creating issues, or maybe it's not that they *create* issues, but rather give certain types of people another medium in which to behave badly with greater chance of getting caught.

Only if one or both of you are untrustworthy and if there was no FB or twitter etc-those issues would still be there.
My answer is no. I dont think FB or other sites are the cause of relationship issues-I think the people in those relationships would find some other way to hurt their partner anyway and just cannot be trusted in general.
Its probably a good thing that we have new ways of sussing the lying bastards out lol so we can dump their ass and find someone better
