Oh, poor Arty! I am sorry you are not having a happy day; maybe tomorrow will be better. Take a nice bubble bath and paint your toenails tonight. That always makes me feel better.

Hmm..I haven't tried painting my toenails to make myself feel better. Does that really work? I really don't see how...although maybe it's that nail polish you'll keep inhaling, thus making you high. Ah,I see your point, but wouldn't it be easier to just sniff the nail polish straigh up?

Just playing, Arty..I didn't get to read it but I hope you change your mind about whatever made you sad and determine they're not worth making you sad and being happy is a much better alternative.

Painting your toenails requires concentration which takes your mind off your worries. It's therapeutic; you should try it sometime. (If not on yourself - haha - then on your girlfriend.)

So would maybe working on a puzzle have the same effect?

I think watching tv or a movie has that effect on me. Since I have the world's worst ADD I can't multitask for shit and so watching TV requires my full attention. It does unwind me, too.

Everybody goes through those phases every now and then.

Believe it or not, even I do as well.

It takes a minute to have a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, a day to love someone - but it takes a lifetime to forget someone"

People change and forget to tell each other.

And then you complain about your boyfriend not helping you clean. The man is a Saint! He realizes that cleaning your house helps your unhappiness so he let's you maximize your happiness by letting you hog it all! Who understands women?!

Stop, Frisbee...not YOU too?? But really..I've grown to have pretty good control over it..I can't recall being unhappy any time in the modern history of nomas..anytime I'm close I rationalize my way out of it, knowing it's just a state of mind, which I have full control over..at least I do right now.

    Same goes for boredom.

This is wise, blue..I had forgot about this good little piece of advice..well, more like a justification for the bad days, but still, it helps, right?

There's 'feeling bad', 'meloncholy' and 'nostalgia'. People often confuse them.
