Sending Me Mixed Signals?

Lately, the hottest guy in our class has been hitting on me and while we were texting he claimed to "like me" although I always shoot him down. I do kind of like him, though, but I'm scared to show him I like him and everything. However, I'm not sure if he actually does like me or not... he tells me he does, but then doesn't talk to me for a few days. And we texted for like a day and after that he didn't text. Then, the past few days, he's been telling me I look good and asked if I'm single and I jsut don't know what's going on in his head. >.< Help?

Why don't you try being friendly with him and see where it leads?

just try to be his friend and see where it goes. dont get to emotionally invested because i got played like that.

hes not playing games haha. You are. He told you he likes you, asked if your single etc. The only reason you havnt heard from him for days is because you said your not interested. Just be honest with him that you do like him. You have nothing to lose so just go for it.

He stops contacting you because A. you shoot him down and B. he doesn't want to come off as needy and desperate either. Next time he contacts you, tell him if he likes you so much, how come he hasn't got the balls to ask you out.
