do you think this is normal for a relationship?

My girlfriend and I see each other a pretty decent amount. 5-6 times a week. There's some days(if we dont see each other) where we hardly text or call each other. I like it because we do need our space, and if I have nothing to talk about I don't wanna text stupid pointless gibberish

I'll just use today as an example. I saw my girlfriend wed, thurs, fri, sat and sunday but am not seeing her today. I went without contact till about oh 330, when she called me.

Now for me? I enjoy that. She knows I care about her and I feel I don't need to be in contact with her 24/7. She doesn't get upset and question why I didn't contact her all day.

Is anyone else in a similar situation like that? The fact that there are days where you just want alone time?

theres nothing wrong with that. its normal if your not living together. i live with my bf and we see each othsr every day but we still need space, quiet time. some days i just wana sit on my own, listen to music and switch off for awhile and hell go watch a documentry or something.

Even if you were living together, it would be normal to want some time apart once in a while. Or to hang out with your own friends or family from time to time, instead of her.
