been with my gf for about 5 months. before me she was with a guy for over a year...they broke up though after he walked out on her...

i sa whim the other day at my work and i told her..she was like what was he there for and i told her

i said "i wanted to walk up to him ans shake his hand and say "you are an asshole for what you did to her, but thank you"

does that sound mean? i meant it as like....your an *** for hurting her but you hurting her gave me the chance to be with her..ya know?

Agree with YC. Was probably best not mentioned at all. As far as what you wanted to say to him, I think it makes you sound really childish. Kind of like "Nya Nya, I got the girl"

its in the past-leave it there. s**t happens but it happens for a reason. They obviously were not right for each other and she is with you now so enjoy what you have together and forget about exes.

remember before you call somebody an asshole, you only know one side of the story. Maybe he walked out on her because she was sleeping with the entire grill line at your local McDonalds. Just sayin, leave it alone unless you know both sides
