my girl and i always say love you when we hang up the phone. well ok more like 97 percent lol
tonight when we got off the phone i said love you bye, she said bye...and then a few second pause and then she said love you bye
it bothers me she didnt say it right away. should i ask her why or forget it?

Have you any reason to think that she doesn't love you? If not, then stop overanalysing.
Never regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, forgotten or undone. So, take it as a lesson learned and move on.

Probably quality is better than quantity in this case. Don't say anything to each other that didn't come naturally. Meaning, don't make it a routine, because then it loses it's value. Make sure it's not automatic, but was spawned by something you felt at that moment.
