well typically that isn't all that true.
In my experience, for me anyway, I don't think about it that often ever. When I was with my ex, I thought about it a LOT more than usual but I only thought about it with her. Now I'm stuck not wanting it because it brings back painful memories.

No it's not true for me.
If I have my mind concentrated on something (videogames, driving, what have you) sex definitely isn't on my mind.
Though depending on how serious, or not the task is at hand also affects how easily distracted I'll be once a female makes it's presence known.
